scope:
This specification covers the processing of the Carrier, Guided Missile Equipment, M667; for storage outside of buildings, for immediate use shipment, and for domestic or overseas shipment, including carloading; meeting the requirements of levels A and B processing (see 1.2).
Processing shall be of the following levels, as specified (see 6.1):
Level A - Maximum military protection.
Level A is the processing required for the protection of vehicle during shipment, handling, and storage exceeding 90 days from date of actual processing. This level does not provide for driveaway capability. It does provide for domestic or overseas shipment, including open deck loading. Beneficial comments (recommendations, additions, deletions) and any pertinent data which may be of use in improving this document should be addressed to: US Army Tank-Automotive Materiel Readiness Command, ATTN: DRSTA-GSS, Warren, MI 48090, by using the self-addressed Standardization Document Improvement Proposal (DD Form 1426) appearing at the end of this document, or by letter.
