This specification governs one grade of high flash point type aviation turbine fuel intended primarily for use in military aircraft.
Fuel provided to this specification shall possess satisfactory performance and properties when used in appropriate aircraft and/or gas turbine engines operated by the Ministry of Defence or other Government Departments .
