scope:

This Standard specifies requirements for the Military Level packaging of RAF mobile ground support equipment, ie all items of ground servicing equipment, fitted with wheels or castors, that may be packaged to provide climatic and physical protection in such a manner that they may still remain mobile whilst packed. Wheels or castors shall be of a diameter large enough to provide adequate ground clearance for the equipment to be handled by mechanical means.

The packaging processes outlined in this Standard have been accepted by MOD(A1R) and are applicable to Level N requirements as defined in Def Stan 81-41.
