This document defines data structures and elements for industrial process measurement and control equipment with analogue or digital output. It applies to the production of catalogues of process measuring equipment supplied by the manufacturer of the product. The document shall also serve as a reference document for all future standards that are concerned with process measuring equipment catalogues. In addition, it is intended as a guide for the production of further standards on process equipment documentation for similar systems, e.g., for other measuring equipment and actuators.
