Standard Test Method for Determination of Vapor Pressure of Crude Oil: VPCRx (Expansion Method)
|Publication Date:||1 December 2003|
|ICS Code (Crude petroleum):||75.040|
This test method covers the use of automated vapor pressure instruments to determine the vapor pressure of crude oils at temperatures between 5 and 80°C for vapor-liquid ratios from 4:1 to 0.02:1 (X = 4 to 0.02) and pressures from 7 to 500 kPa (1.0 to 70 psi).
The values stated in SI units are regarded as standard. The inch-pound units given in parentheses are provided for information only.
