This ETS specifies supplementary services Call Completion (SS-CC), which are applicable to various basic services supported by PTNs. Basic services are specified in ETS 300 171. SS-CC consists of two Supplementary services; the Completion of Call to Busy Subscribers supplementary service (SS-CCBS) and the completion of Calls on No Reply supplementary service (SS-CCNR). SS-CCBS enables a calling User A, encountering a busy destination User B, to have the call completed when Uswe B becomes not busy without having to make a new call attempt.
