This final draft European Telecommunication Standard (ETS) defines the physical layer convergence procedure at 2, 058 Mbit/s for use in the context of a subnetwork of a Metropolitan Area Network (MAN). Additional slot mappings for use in transit networks and use of methods defined in this final draft ETS for other purposes are outside the scope of this final draft ETS.
Methods of testing will be the subject of separate arrangements.
