This Information Circular is a supplement to EN 10027-1. It deals with additional symbols for steel names. These additional symbols are those symbols which are used in addition to the principal symbols defined according to EN 10027-1 where the latter are not sufficient for a complete abbreviated identification of a steel or a steel product.
