This bulletin establishes human engineering design criteria applicable to ground support equipment and ground crew stations in Air Force aircraft, missile, and space systems. (See ARDC Reg. 80-28.) (See WADG TR 56-488.)

Purpose.- The purpose of this bulletin is to present design principles and practices to be used in designing equipment so as to achieve optimum performance of operator and maintenance personnel and to provide a basis for design standardization within and among systems.
