scope:
This standard specifies the acoustical performance requirements for reference sound sources with regard to: 1) temporal steadiness and repeatability of the sound power output; 2) spectral characteristics; and 3) directivity index. It also specifies procedures for calibrating a sound source intended for use as reference sound source for the determination of sound power levels.
