This Standard specifies the requirements for a paint remover suitable for:
(a) The removal of air dried pait films from GRP (glass reinforced plastic) surfaces;
(b) The removal of selectively strippable acrylic paint finish complying with DTD 5599 from the underlying empoxy primer complying with Bs X33.
Subject ot Design Authority approval it may also be suitable fro use in contact with othr polymeric materials. It will normally be applied by brushing to the pained surface and subsequently removed, together with the residuce of the paint film, by scraping followed by rinshing with water.
