PURPOSE. This order provides guidance for the issuance of a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Form 8130-7, Special Airworthiness Certificate, for replicas of the 1903 Wright Flyer aircraft. These aircraft will be certificated only in the Experimental category for the purpose of exhibition. This order will assist the Aviation Safety Inspector (ASI) to issue airworthiness certificates in a timely manner, with a minimum of regulatory burden to the applicant or aircraft.
