scope:
This specification covers one grade of nickel for electronic use in the forms of bar, flat wire (ribbon) and strip (see 6.1).
The one grade of nickel shall be commercially pure. It shall be furnished in the following tempers, as specified (see 6.2).

Unless otherwise specified in the contract or order, nickel bar, flat wire (ribbon) and strip shall be furnished in bright finish.

Bar, flat wire (ribbon), and strip are intended for use as components of magnetrons.
