This test is applicable to all fuzes intended for aircraft launched rocket and guided missile ammunition which can be launched under control which prevents arming.

Purpose.

This is a field safety test used during development to determine whether or not the fuze will undergo severe earth impacts in the unarmed condition without initiating the associated payload.
