This specification covers a floor or wall mounted manually operated duress switch which allows an alarm to be initiated by its operator when placed under duress. It is a component of the Joint-Services Interior Intrusion Detection System (J-SIIDS).
intended Use:
The LAS is intended to enable its operator to surreptitiously initiate an alarm when placed under duress; it is a component of the Joint-Services Interior Intrusion Detection System (J-SIIDS).
