scope:

This Standard covers the following:

March 1992

(a) plastic drain and sewer pipe and plastic pipe fittings with pipe stiffness of 275, 320, or 625 kPa, including both singie-wall and co-extruded pipe with a smooth interior;

(b) single-wall or co-extruded, noncorrugated, perforated plastic pipe and plastic pipe fittings;

(c) co-extruded dual-wall perforated plastic pipe with a smooth interior and corrugated exterior; and

(d) solvent cement.

Note: Industrial waste disposal lines should be installed only with the specific approval of the regulatory outhority, since chemicals not commonly found in drains and sewers and temperatures greater than 60°C may be encountered.
