scope:
This specification covers the performance requirements of a broadband identification friend or foe (IFF) antenna system. The antenna system operates in two bands: high frequency (1030 MHz ± 10 MHz and 1090 MHz ± 10 MHz), and low frequency (600 MHz to 800 MHz) The high frequency band operates with sum and difference radiated patterns in an ISCS mode at 1030 MHz ± 10 MHz. The low frequency band and the 1090 MHz ± 10 MHz operate in the sum pattern only.
