This specification covers refractory insulating brick for industrial furnace requirements and in general where they may be in direct contact with combustion gases, such as forge and stress relieving furnaces.
Refractory insulating brick shall be of the following classes, as specified (see 6.1):
Class A -- 2,000°F. Class B -- 2,800°F.
