scope:

The Avionics OAG shall provide guidance in the areas of communications, navigation/identification, mission avionics, flight operations/safety, as well as those areas the Executive Steering Committee (ESC) deems necessary.

Purpose. The Avionics Operational Advisory Group (OAG) is chartered to provide direct fleet interface with requirements officers, program managers and technical advisors. This OAG shall serve as a forum for:

a. Identification of requirements common across several aircraft platforms.

b. Discussions of possible equipment standardization and the potential for acquisition and ownership cost savings.

c. Identification and prioritization of avionics issues which directly impact safety and readiness.
