This specification covers a nonmagnetic high intensity flashing light primarily intended for use on minefield marker (reference) buoys as an aid to navigation. It is designed to be as compact as possible and yet to be rugged enough to operate under adverse environmental conditions. The light consists of two basic components, an electronic flash assembly and a battery pack which are interconnected by a power cable.
