This Defence Standard specifiesthe requirements for red and blue dye solutions for use in the smoke generationsystem of the Royal Air Force Red Arrows aerobatic aircraft. The dye solutionsshall be compatible with the materials used in the smoke generation system. Thedye solutions are used in diluted form with diesel complying with BS EN 590
