This instruction applies to all U.S. Navy commands and activities conducting premeditated personnel parachuting operations.

Purpose. To identify the Premeditated Personnel Parachuting (P3) equipment Authorized for Navy Use (ANU). This revision provides updated lists of ANU equipment, as well as associated restriction/amplification notes, separated into life support, non-life support, and non-life support ancillary categories. It incorporates items approved as additions since issuance of the previous revision, along with changes resulting from the P3 Integrated Product Team (IPT) ANU Screening meeting held on 22 January 2003.
