This specification covers the requirements, examinations, and tests for polyurethane coated Kevlar-29 cloth. The coated cloth is used in the fabrication of the Ram Air Decelerator (RAD) of the M73/M75 grenade in the M261/M267 Hydra 70 submunition warhead (see 6.1).

intended Use:

The cloth is intended for use in the manufacture of inflatable retarding devices, Ram Air Decelerator (RAD), in munitions.
