Purpose and scope. a. This regulation establishes policies and sets forth general administrative provisions for the operation of Army medical treatment facilities (MTF). Except as otherwise provided in certain chapters and paragraphs, this regulation applies to all Active Army MTF.
b. This regulation is applicable to the US Army Reserve and the Army National Guard.
