U. S. AIR FORCE STANDARD NOTICE

This notice should be filed in front of USAF Standard 325 dated 20 April 1953.

1. USAF Standard 325 is inactive for design after 12 August 1960.

2. For new design use MS35690 Nut, Plain, Hexagon, UNC-2B and UNF-2B.

3. MS35690 parts can universally replace the inactivated USAF 325 parts of like thread, material and finish; but the inactivated USAF 325 parts cannot always replace the MS35690 parts.

(Copies of specifications, standards, drawings, and publications required by contractors in connection with specific procurement functions should be obtained from the procuring activity or as directed by the contracting officer.)
