scope:
PURPOSE. To establish policy and procedures related to foreign travel and trip reports, and to redelegate authority to approve foreign travel.
APPLICABILITY. This directive applies only to JSC personnel. Foreign travel by NASA support contractors, if chargeable to NASA, should be consistent with NASA issuances as referenced in the contract. Foreign travel by college and university personnel (with costs charged to NASA grants, contracts, or other agreements) is subject to NMI 9720.5A.
