This specification covers Multiplexer TD-660( )/G which is a voice frequency processing unit providing 6 or 12 channels of communication. It contains transmit and receive sections. The transmit section provides 6 or 12 voice frequency channels for converting voice signals to Time Division Multiplex (TDM), Pulse Code Modulated (PCM) signals. The receive section converts (PCM) signals to voice signals simultaneously. (See 6.1 and 6.6).
