This specification covers submarine battery ventilation air flow indicating meters. The meters measure the differential pressure created by air flow through a venturi meter and transmit a proportional voltage to a remote indicator, which can be inscribed to indicate in cubic feet per minute (c.f.m.).
Air flow indicating meters shall be of the following types as specified (see 6.1):
Type A - One transmitter and one remote indicator. Type B - One transmitter and two remote indicators.
