scope:

The current document is the deliverable for the adoption of Dublin Core in Europe by providing guidance to organisations and communities wishing to consider the use of the Dublin Core in their metadata activities. It also contains information on the state of the art in the implementation of the Dublin Core in Europe, as well as a list of guidance information for the use of Dublin Core in Europe. Therefore, it constitutes guidelines for European organisations to assist the adoption of Dublin Core in Europe, such as for example, explaining what DC is and is not suitable for.
