scope:
This specification is intended primarily to cover the requirements for supported rubberized hair padding for use as upholstered furniture cushioning and for other similar applications (see 6.1).
The padding shall be of the following types and classes, as specified (see 6.2).
Type I - Curled hair (horsehair, cattlehair, and hog hair). Class 1 - 1 inch thick. Class 2 - 1-½ inches thick. Class 3 - 2 inches thick. Type II - Hog hair. Class 4 - ⅝ inch thick.
