Purpose. To update policies and procedures for management of the Department of the Navy IMA programs per reference (a).
Applicability. This instruction applies to Navy and Marine Corps Reserve members taking part in approved IMA programs within the Department of Defense (DoD), the Department of the Navy and approved programs with agencies outside the DoD.
