SCOPE AND APPLICABILITY. This Instruction is applicable to all Code 800 organizational elements and project offices having R&QA responsibilities, and to other organizations when supporting Code 800 managed activities which involve R&QA requirements. It also describes the interorganizational responsibilities that apply when performing such tasks.
PURPOSE. This Instruction states the basic policy for the administration and management of the Reliability and Quality Assurance (R&QA) function for the Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) of the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), and describes the interorganizational working relationships between GSFC Codes 300 (Office of Flight Assurance) and 800 (Suborbital Projects and Operations Directorate).
