INTRODUCTION

This document shows those electronic components or processes which are currently undergoing approval tests with assistance from Defence Research Agency. It reflects the situation as reported by Companies' latest progress reports and is issued for information only. No entry in itself authorises a change to a contract or to any contractual requirement.

Other recent Defence approvals are also shown.

The general requirements for the selection of established electrical/electronic components in the design of military equipment are contained in Defence Standard 00-10, Part 5. Procedure is governed by Defence Standard 59-36.

ISSUE 52 replaces previous issues, supplements, and amendments:-

Page II- Index of Component Sections, and Page Numbers.

Page III- Approved Components and Processes: Qualified Product Lists.

Pages IV and V -Notice to Design Authorities: Arrangement regarding the use of Draft Specifications during System or Equipment development.

Page VI - Information regarding Assessment levels.

NOTES:

1. See B.S.I.CECC 00200, PD9002 or Def.Stan 59-59 for established components.

2. Def.Stan 59-59 lists military qualified components. (For preferred military components enquire of the Electronic Parts information centre (EPIC))
