scope:
-Muslin covered by this specification is a closely singed, desized, and fully mercerized cloth having a crisp, lustrous finish. It is primarily intended for use as dress goods and suiting material.
-There shall be one type as hereinafter described.
-The color shall be as specified (see 3.1.5).
-The grade shall be that known commercially as firsts.
