scope:
The equipment covered by this specification shall provide a permanent record of the temperature profile of sea water from sea level to a depth of 1,000 feet. The equipment shall be used in naval aircraft for the purposes of oceanographic research and anti-submarine warfare.
The equipment covered by this specification shall consist of the item listed in paragraph 6.8.
This equipment shall operate with the associated equipment listed in paragraph 6.9.
intended Use:
The equipment covered by this specification is intended for use in Naval aircraft during ASW operations and for oceanographic, research (See 3.4).
