Scope
The Component Acceptance Service for vacuum cleaner motors covers the acceptance of the physical construction, materials and the markings or ratings of the motors.
Purpose
This service will provide:
(a) Original equipment manufacturers with access to motors that have been pre-tested to applicable CSA requirements in order to realize reduced certification time and costs; and
(b)Motor manufacturers with a useful marketing tool for their products
