scope:
-Trucks covered by this specification shall be heavy duty, diesel powered, telescopic and tilting mast, pneumatic tired, industrial type fork lift trucks of 6,000 pounds capacity rated at 24 inches from heel of forks and lift such a load to a height not less than 120 inches from ground level. The heavy duty trucks specified herein are for use in open areas on both paved and unpaved surfaces where rugged design is required to insure proper and safe handling and transporting of explosive components at Naval Shore establishments.
