This Standard relates to several types of nylon in the form of granules (NSC Approved Item Name - PLASTICS, MOULDING MATERIAL) which are suitable for the production of moulded or extruded articles for mechanical purposes. Such articles will be resistant to many organic liquids such as lubricants and hydrocarbon fuels. For nylon material for electrical purposes, reference should be made to DEF STAN 93 - 7.
