2.0 SCOPE

This specification covers base metal requirements, plating appearance, thickness and electro chemical potential requirements, corrosion resistance, adhesion, qualification, source approval and quality control, and shipping and handling requirements. Chrome plating representing five levels of corrosion resistance, related to the severity of the intended application, are included in this specification.
