The standard specifies the requirements for the laboratory testing of the volume resistance of specially prepared test pieces of vulcanized rubber compounds rendered conducting orantistatic by the inclusion of carbon black or ionizeble materials. The method is suitable for materials with a resistivity of less than 10 to the 6.th power Ohm.m.
