scope:

This Commercial Item Description (CID) covers rolled oats cereals, packed in commercially acceptable containers, suitable for use by the Federal Government and as a component of operational rations.

The rolled oats cereals shall conform to the types and flavors in the following list which shall be specified in the solicitation, contract, or purchase order.

Types and flavors: Type I - Quick cooking Type II - Instant Flavor A - Unflavored Flavor B - Apples and cinnamon
