PURPOSE. This order defines the responsibilities of the National Airspace System (NAS) Managed Subsystem (NMS) implementation offices assigned engineering responsibility for Facilities & Equipment (F&E) projects, and the responsibilities of the NAS Infrastructure Management System (NIMS) as related to the development and implementation of NMS-to-NMS communications interfaces.
