Recommendations on necessary concepts to model behavioural semantics

inactive, Most Current
Organization: DS
Publication Date: 2 January 1998
Status: inactive
ICS Code (IT applications in industry): 35.240.50
scope:

This Tehcnical Report proposes a modelling method based on constrained sets. The geometrical shape of complex objects can be fully described using points sets belonging to a finite but arbitrary grid, their behaviour can be seen as a set of snapshots (events) taken at different moments in time throughout its evolution. Thereby the spatial extension of an object and its evolution in time are captured in a similar way, which allows an easy combination of both aspects.
