inactive
Organization: MODUK
Publication Date: 18 August 2006
Status: inactive
Page Count: 18
scope:

This standard specifies requirements for the marking of all guided missiles, their associated explosive assemblies, parts and inert replicas. It shall be read in conjunction with the rules and general information contained in Part 1.

Items used in guided weapons not covered by this part are as follows:

Cartridges (for Gas Generators) - see Part 4.

Flares, Tracking - see Part 11.

Tracers - see Part 17.

The multitude of missile systems, currently in-service or coming into service, coupled with the increasing use of Joint Service, Foreign and Multi - National systems, unfortunately means the marking requirements detailed in this part may not always be met.

NOTE The tabulated listing at Annex A depicts the current markings applicable to each type of missile system currently in service.
