The present Standard, "Project phasing and planning", is part 4 og EN 13290 space project manaement - General requirements. Its purpose is to define the principles and requirements to be observed during the management of the project phasing and planning. Each requirement and its purpose is described together with the expected output. The requirements specified herein apply to and affect the customer and supplier at all levels, when the capability to design and supply conforming product needs to be demonstrated. This project phasing and planning document covers all the phases of the project. When viewed from the perspective of a specific project context, the requirements defined in this standard should be tailored to match the genuine requirements of a particular profile and circumstances of a project. NOTE Tailoring is a process by which individual requirements of specifications, standards and related documents are evaluated and made applicable to a specific project by selection, and in some exceptional cases, modification of existing or addition of new requirements.
