INTRODUCTION
Increasing emphasis on the coordinated worldwide products reinforces the need for common reference planes on both passenger cars and trucks throughout all Ford Product Engineering locations. Such reference planes will facilitate vehicle comparison, design or derivative vehicles and the multi-use of major vehicle elements. These reference planes are in accordance with the SAE J1100 JUN93 SAE Recommended Practice.
