INTRODUCTION TO PART 2

Part 2 of this publication gives the detailed procedures to enable contractors during the design and development stages of a project to discharge the following responsibilities:

provide certain detailed information and documentation;

conduct testing;

provide assistance and facilities to MOD(PE) and the Service(s).

NOTE: Development of materiel may continue after the introduction of materiel in to use by the Services in response to changed Service requirements, operating experience, defects etc.
