The present document applies to the following digital fixed radio systems (DFRS), including equipment with integral antenna, and antenna types: - point-to-point systems intended for operation in frequency bands that require co-ordination; - point-to-point systems intended for operation in frequency bands that do not require co-ordination; - antennas for point-to-point operation. The present document summarizes all characteristics, principles and definitions that are common to all P-P equipment and antennas, EN 302 217- 2-1 and EN 302 217-4-1 (see bibliography) summarize the other system dependent characteristics and include limits for "non-essential" requirements, EN 302 217-2-2, EN 302 217-3 and EN 302 217-4-2 (see bibliography) contain the whole description and limits of "essential" requirements under article 3.2 of the R&TTE Directive [1].
