scope:
Purpose. This regulation establishes Army policies, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for the Army Chemical Surety Program. The purpose of the Army Chemical Surety Program is to ensure that chemical agent operations are conducted in a safe, secure, and reliable manner.
Applicability. This regulation applies to all Army commands, agencies, organizations, and to contractors that have chemical agent related responsibilities. This regulation does not apply to the Army National Guard of the United States (ARNGUS) or to the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR). It is applicable during full mobilization.
