This handbook establishes criteria for the design of utility services for piers, wharves, and graving drydocks. NAVFAC DM-29.1, Graving Drydocks provides supplemental and related utility data for use specifically in drydock applications. Navy waterfront terminology is defined in the Glossary Section.
This handbook cancels and supersedes interim criteria of December 1984 and Chapter 3 of NAVFAC DM-25, Waterfront Operational Facilities of October 1971.
